May 2021:
Re-opening dates for bowling centres in Northern Ireland announced as Monday 24th May 2021. We ask that our players familiarise themselves with the current NITBF COVID-19 Protocols (Click Here) and are reminded that a valid NITBF Membership will entitle you to avail of the NITBF discounted rates and lane preparations.

Since March 2020 we have advised that events in Northern Ireland are postponed and that the 19/20 Season will be re-commenced when it is safe to do so. There is still no change to this message. The safety of everyone involved in our sport and the local community is paramount.

With the ever changing environment, dates and events cannot currently be announced for concluding the 19/20 season and commencing the new season. When it is possible to advise dates we will do so. The 19/20 season will be concluded by the remaining two events of the season being combined with the first two events of the new season.

The Executive Council of the NITBF remains in place alongside other current paying members. The day to day operations of the Federation are still being maintained by the Executive during these times.

In the meantime, please familarise yourself with our COVID-19 protocols document which can be found on our website. This document contains all the protocols which must be followed during all NITBF sanctioned events, leagues, and training programmes (please note this document is continously updated as the Regulations change along with our risk assessment). Prior to the return to NITBF sanctioned events, leagues and training programmes all Members and participants will be sent the latest protocols document. To be eligible to compete/ attend team training sessions, acknowledgement of adherence to the protocols must be sent to our COVID-19 Safety Officer, failure to do so will result in the Member/ participant not being able to compete/ train.

You can access the current NITBF COVID-19 Protocols Document in the Rules & Regulations section of the website or by downloading here

We also urge you to follow our Facebook page for the latest updates, and strongly urge you to help us spread the message in the battle to defeat the virus.

Please follow all the Northern Ireland Executive guidelines available at: NIDIRECT.GOV.UK - Coronavirus Guidance
